Antimold 02 aims to produce the same aesthetic of the previous Antimold. It's no longer needed to break the mold to have the geometrical shapes, however, you cannot reposition the dozens of elements that compose the structure in the exact same way, but even if you could the plastic expanding would do so in a different way. It's just impossible to make the same piece twice.
2 profiles were designed to prove the concept, an hexagonal profile and an organic one. Between them there are around 40 different diameters, which I can use to guide the piece to it's final shape.
“Who said that molds have to be boring and repetitive? I just wanted to introduce some dynamic into my production systems, in this case, the impossibility of reproduction while keeping a very similar aesthetic.”
